Your page will ask you to nominate which category your page should sit under: charity, cause, organisation, business, brand, individual, etc. Customising the rest of the page is quite straightforward. You should add the correct logo, URL for your website and craft your description in a way that will entice visitors to click through to your website.

While the end-goal is to drive traffic to your website, your page is also there to attract likes - from both existing customers and potential ones. People who “Like” your page become your fans, and when you post from your page these fans will see your posts appear in their newsfeed.

You can gain likes through networking using Facebook to look for pages with similar (or related) products or services. When appropriate, you can comment on relevant posts with helpful and informative comments that position your page as an authority on a topic. This will attract other users to visit your page, and if they can see that your page content provides value, they will also ‘Like’ your page, in order to follow your content.
